The Stationers' Company has launched its Warrant for Excellence programme for 2018 and 2019. The Warrant recognises excellence in the communication and content industries. Previous book trade recipients include Slightly Foxed and the Folio Society.
The Warrant recognises: original design and interpretation; high quality manufacturing/production techniques, effective use of materials, and attention to detail; appropriate and sustainable packaging suitable for its method of sale; environmental credentials and compliance with ethical trading guidelines; relevance to its market sector.
The judges are: Sammy Bartley - owner of Bartley Business Associates; Vanessa Kramer - picture editor; Philip Lawson - ceo, BOSS Federation; Christopher Leonard-Morgan - founder, London Stationery Show; Toby Robins - ceo, Office Club; Doug Wills - managing editor, Evening Standard/Independent.
