With talk by author and Black history writer Steve Martin


IBBY (the International Board on Books for Young People) will hold its annual general meeting, with a talk by Steve Martin, at 6pm on 10 June at the Black Cultural Archives on Windrush Square, London.

Following the agm at 6pm and drinks at 6.45pm, Martin will talk at 7pm about using archive documents and images in writing children's fiction. His children's novels are Jupiter Williams and Jupiter Amidships; he works as a researcher and writer of Black history.

The event is free to IBBY members and to non-members. But those wishing to attend should book at ibbyukagm2018.eventbrite.com.
