Agency's third pitch event, and second outside London
DHH Literary Agency is to hold it third Pitch DHH event in Liverpool on 7 December.
Authors wishing to attend should submit one-page synopses of their novels, along with the first 5,000 words, to firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications open at 10am on Monday 26 August, and close at 6pm on Friday 4 October. There are 110 places, with each author given 10 minutes to pitch to a DHH agent.
DHH Literary Agency founder David Headley said: "This is the second time we're taking Pitch DHH on the road, following our hugely successful event in my hometown of York last year. It's so important to look outside of London for distinctive new voices, as many people can't afford to spend time and money travelling to us. This time, we're off to Liverpool, 2008's European Capital of Culture, which has given us amazing writers such as Beryl Bainbridge and Frank Cottrell Boyce, and the city that my colleague Hannah Sheppard fell in love with when she lived there. I can't wait to hear the incredible stories yet to come out of Liverpool."
In addition to Headley and Sheppard, DHH's agents are Broo Doherty, Natalie Galustian, and Harry Illingworth.
