World Book Day comp opens

The World Book Day Short Stories competition is now open (details and entry forms here). Authors including Anthony Browne, Francesca Simon and Andy McNab have written the opening lines of stories for children to complete, and Roger McGough has provided the opening lines of a poem. The winning entries will appear in anthologies published by Evans Brothers, with proceeds going to the World Book Day charity.
