Sheila Quigley, who made headlines when as a grandmother living on benefits she landed a six-figure deal with Random House, has moved to a small, Newcastle-based publisher for her next novel. The Road to Hell will appear in hardback from Tonto Books on 5 November. Quigley says: 'I am thrilled to be with my new publisher Tonto Books. They are going far, and I am looking forward to the ride!' Her agent is Darley Anderson. Tonto has world rights.
Quigley began her writing career with a two-book deal with RH, and signed for a further two books two years later, in 2005. Her most recent novel, Every Breath You Take, came out in paperback at the end of 2007.
