Rebecca Mundy becomes publicity director, while Jenny Platt joins from MJ as senior publicity manager
Jenny Platt (right) joins Hodder on 16 June as senior publicity manager.
Platt moves to Hodder from Michael Joseph, where she has managed campaigns for novelists including CJ Tudor, Gillian McAllister, Jane Fallon, Hilary Boyd and Graeme Simsion, and for non-fiction authors including Raynor Winn, Nadiya Hussain, Amelia Freer and Lily Singh.
Eleni Lawrence, Hodder communications director, said: "Jenny instantly impressed us with her breadth of experience across commercial fiction and non-fiction publishing, from crime and women's fiction to cookery stars like Jamie Oliver. She is a smart, tenacious and passionate publicist, and I can't wait for her to join the team."
Rebecca Mundy (left) has been promoted to publicity director. Mundy began her publishing career at the Henley Literary Festival before joining the Hodder press office six years ago. Her recent campaigns have included Holly Bourne's first adult fiction outing How Do You Like Me Now?, and the launch of Hazel Wallace's The Food Medic.
Lawrence said: "Becca is a key member of Hodder's award-winning publicity team and brings terrific energy and strategic thinking to her campaigns. I am delighted that she has been promoted to reflect her contribution to Hodder's recent success and her exceptional author care."
