London's new crime festival hires PR agency after competitive pitch


Midas has been appointed by David Headley and Adam Hamdy of Capital Crime to implement a media strategy for the inaugural event 'in order to promote Capital Crime’s profile as one of the UK’s leading crime and thriller festivals. Midas PR’s role will include securing national coverage for Capital Crime’s exceptional programme and initiatives, and to drive box office sales.'

Jason Bartholomew, ceo of Midas PR said: "Midas PR is hugely excited to be part of London’s first crime & thriller festival. I can’t think of a better crime duo to work with than David Headley and Adam Hamdy. It will be an honour to work alongside the entire Capital Crime team."

Capital Crime will run from 26-28 September, with the full programme announced in April. David Baldacci, Robert Harris, Kate Mosse, Lynda La Plante, Peter James, Simon Mayo, John Connolly, Stella Rimington, Tom Bradby and Antonia Hodgson have already been confirmed.
