SK Vaughn's novel has sold in 14 overseas territories
Sphere held a dinner in Frankfurt to celebrate the international rights success of SK Vaughn's novel Across the Void. Countries represented at the dinner were - as well as the UK - France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and the US.
The novel has sold in 14 overseas territories, as well as to "a major Hollywood studio". Sphere editorial director Ed Wood had signed world rights (exc NA) through Sam Morgan at Foundry.
SK Vaughn is the pseudonym of a Hollywood writer-director. His or her novel is about a female astronaut who is the sole survivor of an accident in space, and who must rely on the husband whose heart she broke to save her. Sphere will publish Across the Void in hardback in June 2019.
