Support for charity that 'believes as passionately as we do in the power of the word'
Book Aid International is to get support from this year's Cliveden Literary Festival, taking a space in the food tent, and getting advertising in the festival programme as well as promotional support on the website and in the festival bookshop.
Alison Tweed, Book Aid International chief executive, said: "Cliveden offers us a wonderful opportunity to connect with book lovers who believe, as we do, in the power that books have to enrich all our lives. Together with our supporters we can bring the gift of life-changing books to those around the world who would otherwise never have access to them. We hope that more people will support our work after meeting our team at the festival."
Festival chair Natalie Livingstone said: "We are honoured to be supporting this important charity which believes as passionately as we do in the power of the word and the life-changing force of literature."
The Cliveden Literary Festival takes place on the weekend of 29 and 30 September. The programme is here.
