Quentin Blake supports appeal; show will feature Michael Rosen, Hilary McKay and others

The Children's Bookshow, the annual roadshow that features UK and international authors, is looking to raise the final £10,000 of funding for its autumn 2019 events. The programme will feature 15 theatre events round England, with 60 free author/illustrator workshops available to schools that attend.

Among the home talents taking part are Neal Layton, Hilary McKay, Alexis Deacon, and (starring in Margate, Weymouth and Hull) Michael Rosen. From overseas, there are Dutch author Gijs van de Hammen and illustrators Hanneke Seimensma and Catharina Valckx. Details of those taking part, and of the tour venues and dates, are here.

Quentin Blake has donated an illustration (right) to support the appeal. Further details of how to support the appeal are here, where there is also a video (available on the BookBrunch home page too).
