BBIA nominations sought

The British Book Industry Awards are calling for nominations. The awards take place this year on Monday 1 June during the Booksellers Association Conference at the Wellcome Trust Campus near Cambridge. The Awards ceremony, hosted by 'a leading comedian', will be followed by a black-tie dinner in Hinxton Hall, the Grade II listed country house at the centre of the Campus. Nominations are sought in the following categories:


Chain Bookselling Company of the Year - sponsored by BDS/ehaus
Design and Production Award - sponsored by Stora Enso
Direct Bookselling Company of the Year - sponsored by Harlequin Mills & Boon
Diversity Award in Literature - sponsored by Arts Council England
Imprint and Editor of the Year - sponsored by Baker Tilly
Independent Publisher of the Year - sponsored by Lightning Source
Publisher of the Year - sponsored by Publishing Technology
Rights Professional of the Year - sponsored by Frankfurt Book Fair
Sue Butterworth Award for Young Bookseller of the Year - sponsored by HarperCollins.
Nominations are not required for Independent Bookshop of the Year; Marketing Campaign of the Year - sponsored by the Daily Mail; and Publicity Campaign of the Year - sponsored by the Publishers Publicity Circle.
