Darley Anderson, one-time theologian and would-be bishop (Bath would have been his preference), has sold a first novel by a young Brazilian who goes by the name of Chris Carter. Crucifix Killer is described by Suzanne Baboneau of Simon & Schuster, as 'a real Darley special... a story about a serial killer who leaves his trademark cross on every body. It's like early Lee Child.' Baboneau bought UK/Commonwealth rights for what she described as 'a nice sum'. Ullstein has bought in Germany, and US rights are currently in play.
