Walker to celebrate 30 years of bear hunting

New editions of Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury's classic

Walker Books, which yesterday announced plans for the 25th anniversary of Guess How Much I Love You, will celebrate next year the 30th anniversary of another picture book classic, We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury. The book has sold more than 11 million copies worldwide, and has been published in 42 languages.

An anniversary edition of the book will be out in January. We're Going on a Bear Hunt The Film: Live in Concert, developed in association with City of London Sinfonia and represented by Intermusica, will go on tour. In October, Walker will publish a facsimile edition of the book, including a limited edition signed print.

This year, an alliance with the National Trust, Wightlink Ferries and Red Funnel Ferries saw the staging of Official Bear Hunt weekends on the Isle of Wight.
