Nadia Murad, the Yazidi human rights activist who as a teenager was forced into sex slavery by ISIS, has with Congolese gynaecologist Denis Mukwege won the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize.

Murad's memoir, The Last Girl: My Story of Captivity and My Fight Against the Islamic State, is published by Virago.

The Nobel committee said of the winners: "They have both put their own personal security at risk by courageously combatting war crimes and securing justice for victims."
