The year-long 'publishing extravaganza' includes a limited edition of the first book in the series and a partnership with the National Literacy Trust, plus branded toys and clothing

Usborne Publishing will be marking the 20th birthday of the That's not my... series in 2019 from today with a year-long publishing extravaganza, including new titles, licensing deals, partnerships, and a gold-foiled limited edition of the much-loved first book in the series, That's not my puppy...

There are four new titles for 2019 including: That's not my zebra...flamingo...koala...bat; and special new editions of four other titles. That's not my... baby apparel was out in 2018, with the Mothercare range, manufactured by Paul Dennicci, winning the Progressive Preschool Award for Best Preschool Apparel and Accessories range. This spring there are new lines being introduced, including dinosaur and unicorn bedding in Tesco, licenced by licensing agency Bulldog. A series of That's not my... plush and buggy toys is being launched in May, with Rainbow Designs. The range will include popular characters, such as kitten, bunny, unicorn, flamingo, and dinosaur.

Usborne is partnering with The National Literacy Trust hub in Nottingham, known locally as Read On Nottingham, in a community-driven campaign. The Hub helps those whose lives are seriously impacted by low levels of literacy by creating long lasting change through a series of programmes and initiatives.

Emily Landsborough, manager of the National Literacy Trust Hub in Nottingham, said: "We're delighted to have the support of Usborne Publishing and the That's Not My... series as part of Read On Nottingham. As an extremely recognisable brand and a hugely popular series for families with children in the early years, we’re sure that That's Not My... will have a very positive impact on the campaign. We're thrilled to put these wonderful titles into the hands of families, allowing them to share special story time together and make important developments to their child's literacy skills."

That's not my... books are written and created by Fiona Watt, the sixth biggest-selling UK children's author, collaborating with illustrator Rachel Wells and designer Non Taylor, as well as other senior figures at Usborne.
