Story of techno-rave pioneers

Anna Valentine at Trapeze (Orion UK) and Ben Schafer at Da Capo Press in the US have signed Halcyon On and On (August 2019) by techno-rave pioneers Orbital, writing with Andy Fyfe. Trapeze secured the book at a four-way auction conducted by Kevin Pocklington at the North Agency; Da Capo made a pre-emptive offer.

Paul and Phil Hartnoll (Orbital) have been leaders in their field since their first single, "Chime", became a top 20 hit in 1989. But, Valentine said, "behind the scenes, the tumultuous relationship between Paul and Phil as both brothers and bandmates is equally fascinating. Halcyon On and On will do for the dance scene what The Dirt by Motley Crüe did for rock."
