Over 100 poets from across the UK will be at the 2018 Poetry in Aldeburgh festival, which runs from 2 to 4 November. The festival is directed by Poetry School and poet Paul Stephenson.

There will be workshops with Dom Bury, Glyn Maxwell, Helena Nelson and Jean Sprackland, plus pop-up flash performances, exhibitions and poetry-themed walks and swims.

The festival will mark the centenary of the end of the First World War with Esther Morgan, the NHS at 70, the National Poetry Competition at 40, and close the weekend with festivities and fizz to celebrate the Poetry School's 21st birthday after a reading from Poetry School founders Jane Duran, Pascale Petit and Mimi Khalvati.
